There’s nothing quite like digging pink agatized limb casts out in the high desert of central Oregon. These incredible stones began their journey millions of years ago, when ancient trees were buried by volcanic ash and sediments. Over time, silica-rich groundwater seeped in, replacing the wood with agate and preserving every ring and texture in stone.
