Scientists with the ambitious Leonardo da Vinci DNA Project think they have potentially snagged a sample of DNA from the famed artist/inventor himself. The findings are presented in a preprint, and further tests are needed to confirm whether this is truly da Vinci's genetic information from more than 500 years ago.
