As millions of Americans hunker down for a massive winter storm sweeping the country, new maps are offering updated forecasts of snow and ice accumulations.

A state of emergency will go into effect at noon Sunday for New Jersey, ahead of a nor'easter that is set to bring heavy snow and high winds.

The worst impacts are expected Sunday night into Monday morning with blowing snow, near zero visibility and whiteout conditions, PIX11 meteorologists say.
