City leaders say the event will honor U.S. service members while highlighting Houston’s role as a major global port city.

According to an announcement on Wednesday, the inaugural Fleet Week Houston is now scheduled for April 15–22, 2026. The weeklong celebration will bring multiple U.S. Navy vessels and more than 1,000 sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen to Houston for a series of public events and community experiences.
