US Marines test deadly autonomous drones that can assist crewed fighter jets
The US Air Force and the Marine Corps have heavily tested Kratos’ Valkyrie drone, officially designated the XQ-58, in recent years. This is largely thanks to the Air Force’s Skyborg program, which is focused on CCAs. However, the Marine Corps and Navy have also started their own CCA programs.
