The USC Trojans suffered a gut-wrenching 69-64 loss to the No. 5 Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday at the Galen Center in a matchup where free throws were a struggle. USC coach Eric Musselman spoke about the Trojans struggles at the free-throw line.

The first 11 minutes weren't pretty. Neither were the final 20. But Purdue basketball left USC's Galen Center still unbeaten in the Big Ten.

Braden Smith stole the ball and scored a layup with 23 seconds left, helping No. 5 Purdue edge Southern California 69-64.

The USC women’s basketball team will face a Purdue team that is quickly gaining momentum on Sunday afternoon. Shutting down the Boilermakers would end a four-game slide, and give the Trojans an edge in the Big Ten standings. The Trojans and Boilermakers are both 2-4 in conference play.
